This is the funny moment a horse refuses to get bored in his stall and start doing tricks with a chain.

A video was filmed in the beach city of Del Mar in California, in the United States and it was posted on Twitter on 25th March.

Standing still in his stable the rather bored horse suddenly noticed the chain hanging next to him. The horse then puts the chain in his mouth and starts swinging it around as if he was doing circus tricks.

Detaching the chain completely off the wall, the horse straightens up and starts whipping the chain around as well.

It figures out that the chain can go in circles and it makes noise, so it continues moving his head and playing with it.

Seems like this is not the only horse who likes to find new toys.

The video attracted horse lovers who had fun and shared their experiences in comments.

A Twitter user ‘MarloWordyBird’ was quick to comment: “Love it. I used to have a horse who looked nearly identical to this one and was always making toys for himself. One of his favourite activities was walking around with a lump of wood in his mouth and occasionally tossing it in the air.”

Another user, named ‘srfotog’ on the same platform said: ” My OTTB Walter not only opens locks on his stall, but he goes and lets his buddies out. He doesn’t let the ones out he doesn’t like.”

And netizen ‘figreen1980’ joked: “Get that horse a tambourine – or maracas”
