I COULD JUST SQUEEZE DOWN ANOTHER MOUTHFUL: Python’s Grim Lunch

This is the moment a hungry Burmese Python snatches a rat from the hands of its owner.

The fast-food moment took place in the city of Los Angeles in the State of California, on 1 May.

One video shows a snake grabbing the rat and feeding on it.

The other video shows the two snakes as they were caressed by the owner.

Newsflash spoke with the reptile owner Justin Thomson, aka @Theblackivory_ .

Justin, 27, said: “I’m living my dream as a full time Animal / Reptile content creator!”

He adds: “I’m also known for my jaw-dropping educational videos with all sorts of reptiles!”

“Both videos were recorded at my home that me and these incredible animals share!”

Justin says that he feeds his snakes every 7-10 days which allows him to catch good footage.

The reptile enthusiast has been keeping reptiles since he was 8 years old.

In high school, he had around 15 snakes.

In total, he has been living with reptiles for 20 years.

When asked about the snakes he said: “Rocky & Banana Pudding are two Burmese Pythons.”

“Rocky being a male is a normal phase of this species as you would commonly see in the wild.”

“Banana Pudding is a genetic mutation of Albino & Granite combined to give her the yellow and white coloration.”

Justin also said that the snakes are just 4 years old and still have a lot of growing to do.

They can reach lengths over 17 feet and weigh roughly 150-200 pounds.

He clarifies that these are giant snakes which take a lot of responsibility and have huge appetites.

Despite this, Justin says his snakes are tamed and have been used for many public events.

Justin ends the interview by saying that “these snakes have changed his life in a way that he will never forget so he is forever grateful”.
