The Oklahoma City Police Department recently responded to a call from a woman trapped in a drainage canal with rushing storm waters.

When OKCPD arrived, they found the victim already knee-deep in water. Officers threw a rope down and lowered a life vest to help secure her as OKC Fire arrived on scene.

Together, Police and Fire were able to bring the victim to safety.
