A middle-aged man in Iowa and his girlfriend have been arrested for raping two boys aged 12 and 15.

The incident that saw Duane Bradley McCoy, 48, and Michelle Lynn Davis, 45, arrested on Saturday, 8th January, took place in the city of Waukee, which is in Dallas County, in the western part of the greater urban area of Des Moines, the capital of the US state of Iowa.

Both of the alleged rapists have been charged with second-degree sexual assault for forcibly raping the two victims, who have not been named but who were 12 and 15 years old between January and March 2021, when the alleged rapes took place.

The Waukee Police Department obtained a warrant in May 2021 and searched the couple’s home, which is located in the 500 block of Southeast Whitetail Lane in the western part of the city of Des Moines.

Arrest warrants for the alleged rapists, who have also been charged with third-degree sexual assault and second-degree sexual assault respectively, were issued on 29th December, and they were arrested on Saturday, 8th January.

Court records reportedly show that DNA evidence supports the charges.

McCoy is being held on a USD-35,000 (GBP-25,700) bond, while Davis is being held on a USD-25,000 (GBP-18,300) bond. Preliminary hearings for both of the accused have been scheduled for 19th January.

McCoy was reportedly arrested in 2004 on a charge of second-degree sexual abuse, but the charge was ultimately dismissed for unknown reasons.
