Moment Viral TikTok Soundbite Okay I Like It Picasso Is Created
This is the moment the viral sound byte ‘I Like It Picasso’ that has ended up on thousands of creative videos was recorded used for the first time.
The footage, that produced the viral sound clip, was actually recorded and filmed in the city of Coventry on 12th January.
Clipzilla spoke to the Tiktoker that shared it, @itsreefa, whose real name is Shereef, aged 20.
He is originally from London and he said he was amazed when it went viral and reached over 41 million views on TikTok.
In the video, a person bizarrely dressed in a purple gown and wearing an orange wig can be seen standing next to a car covered in thin foil. Shereef asks “What is this?” Then he receives the answer “It is an art project.”
Then Shereef utters his iconic line: “Ok, I like it, Picasso.”
In the second video, a person wearing a white lighting shirt can be seen running after the foiled car, holding a stick that releases green steam.
People across the world then started using this sound to create interesting content on TikTok.
Shereef told Clipzilla that he did not know who the artist in the video was at first but later found out.
He said: ” I didn’t know anything about the artist until he reached out to me via email, telling me it was him I recorded.
“His name is Patrick and he is part of a collective called array studios that won the Turner prize for that specific art project.”
After the viral video, Shereef said he was still amazed at its success and even started his own clothing line that is doing well.
He said: “I started the clothing line as a joke, but to my surprise, way more people ordered than I expected.”
