A stunning model and football WAG has told how she lost the urge for sex while she battled against depression.

When later asked by a fan in an online Q and A session if the medication she had been prescribed for her depression caused further problems with her libido, she confessed the truth.

She said: “I’d say it’s a secondary effect more than a problem.

“But no one is better for having more or for having less sex than other people.

“Each stage in life should be accepted and embraced. Whoever agrees, bravo, and whoever doesn’t, BYE!!!”

Experts say depression can cause devastating problems with a patient’s sex drive.

Frederick K. Goodwin, MD – from the scientific council for the National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression – explained: “The whole process of sexual arousal starts with the ability to anticipate pleasure, which is lost with depression.”

While an active sex life may be desirable, doctors stress that it is important to treat depression first before addressing any sexual side effects.
