SPEED LUMPS: Biker Sent Flying After He Fails To Spot Roadworks

This is a the moment a speeding teenage motorcyclist is sent flying through the air after he fails to see the road has been dug up.

The 18-year-old biker can be seen approaching a pile of dirt at speed, with the motorbike shooting over it and into a deep pit on the other side.

The rider can be seen falling a good distance further, on the hard tarmac.

The CCTV video shows him landing in a heap, motionless, before a crowd of passersby rush to his aid.

Other footage shows the aftermath of the incident, with the man’s motorbike visible at the bottom of the hole he went flying over.

The hole had reportedly been dug by road workers carrying out construction work.

The incident reportedly took place on a street in the Turkish capital, Ankara, on the evening of Wednesday, 3rd August.

The victim was identified only as Polat P., 18.

He was taken to hospital in a serious condition, according to local media. There have been no further updates on his condition.
