TikToker Scores Viral Hit Viewed By 76M People Of 1965 Mustang Compared To 2021 Model

This is the viral moment – viewed by over 76 million people – a Romanian car journalist compares a 1965 Ford Mustang with its 2021 counterpart.

The video was shared on TikTok by Romanian content creator Tudor Bratu, 38, for his 1.4 million followers where it has been viewed a whopping 76.4 million times

In the viral footage, Tudor compares a classic 1965 Ford Mustang hardtop with a 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E.

Tudor, who has been reporting on automobiles since he was 19 years old, told Newsflash: “My job is my passion. When I am not filming for TV shows, etc, I work on my social media accounts. Otherwise, I enjoy spending time with my dog and sometimes with my girlfriend.

“I didn’t set a goal of becoming one of the most watched accounts in Romania, but I wanted to have the best account with car-based content in the country.

“My audience appreciated me from the beginning, but my type of content and organic growth forced me to increase the quality and quantity. In 2021, we posted 450 videos with a total of 180 million views.

“I’m very passionate about cars. At first I would write about them, take pictures of them, then film and talk about them in videos. I’m passionate about creating content about them, if I didn’t do that I would miss them.”

When asked why he compared the new Mustang with the classic ’65 model, Tudor told Newsflash: “I’ve featured other models before this video. The idea for this type of material came to me when I visited a good friend from Resita who collects classic Mercedes-Benz models.

“When I got out of my car from then, a Class A 2020, and saw his cars from the 1970s, I realised I had to show people this evolution in as much detail as possible.

“I find car evolution fascinating, I find that people find pleasure in seeing the same model, from the same manufacturer, and how it changed in 30, 40, or 50 years.

“In my video, the classic Mustang belongs to a gentleman from Ploiesti. His friend wrote to me on Instagram to let me know he has a MINI Classic and if I don’t want to film it, he also has an old Mustang.

“The electric Mustang Mach-E was a model from the Ford Romania press park.

“I liked the feel of the classic model’s steering wheel and I liked the electric model immediately.

“Last year, I had 180 million views. Of those, only 75 million were for the Mustangs. So the other 449 videos garnered over 100 million views.

“I’ve already published similar content and it garnered millions of views. Another video as viral as the Mustangs? Of course, I would love it, I always want to achieve things that are as good as possible, as appreciated as possible, and viewed by as many people as possible.

“This year, I plan to do about seven other videos of this type, and for some of them I will travel to various locations around the world to film them because it is difficult to find two well-suited cars of the same model.”
