UBER SLAYING: Mum-Of-Three Shot Dead By Pal In Back Of Boozy Cab
A 28-year-old mother of three was shot dead by her pal in the back of a packed Uber cab while on a boozy night out.
Natalia Harrell, 24, is accused of shooting dead Gladys Yvette Borcela, 28, in Miami, Florida, USA on 23rd July, according to her arrest warrant.
Harrell and the victim were reportedly travelling in a taxi with five other passengers on a night out when the pair became embroiled in a heated row.
CCTV footage from the cab shows the two women arguing before Harrell reaches into her handbag and pulls out a gun.
The suspect then allegedly shot Borcela once.
According to a witness, the suspect was angry that Borcela was boozing and dancing at a venue earlier that night.
She’d messaged a mutual friend to tell them to get her “under control”.
In the back of the Uber, the pair began to row and Harrell moved to the front where she warned: “You don’t want this, you don’t want me to go in my purse.”
After shooting the victim once, the driver stopped the vehicle and the group fled.
Borcela died before paramedics could get her to hospital.
A GoFundMe campaign launched by the victim’s mother described her as the “life of the party”, adding: “She put her three beautiful children first and now they have to grow up and only hear of memories of their beautiful mother. I don’t even know how to tell my grand babies someone took their mother away from us.”
Harrell has reportedly been charged with second-degree murder and remains in custody without bond.
