This is the shocking moment an underage driver in an Infiniti sports car given to him as a present a few days earlier smashes into another vehicle at an intersection and kills two people.

The 16-year-old driver reportedly received the Infiniti luxury car just days before the fatal smash with another vehicle leaving both completely disintegrated.

The footage shows a silver sports car speeding past the red light and ploughing into a small vehicle, sending both flying to the side of the road.

The accident took place at the intersection of Gagarin Avenue and Odessa Street in Kharkov, Ukraine’s second-largest city, on 26th October.

The underage driver reportedly jumped a red light at speed and hit a Chevrolet Aveo car being driven by a woman who died at the scene.

Meanwhile, the teen driver was hospitalised in a critical condition while a passenger in the Infiniti later died in intensive care.

The Infiniti driver has been named as 16-year-old Kharkovsky Nikolay Mikhailovich, born in 2005.

The news site Life said the luxury car had been bought for him just days before the crash.

The police said the teen has been in trouble with the local authorities before. In 2019 when he was 14, he had a row with a woman in the street where he allegedly took out an air pistol and shot at her before aiming the weapon at her young child.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
