A 50-year-old woman who “loves a man in uniform” has been arrested for slapping a beefy cop on the bum while he was carrying out a bar compliance check.

Sandra D. Kobs-Sabo appeared in court on Monday, 31st January, to answer a misdemeanour charge of sexual assault for offensive contact and a felony count of simple assault against a peace officer.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, two officers from the Burleigh County Sheriff’s Department in North Dakota carried out a bar check at the Crossroads Tavern when the suspect sidled up to one of them.

The police affidavit said the 50-year-old woman slapped one of the cops on his behind.

As the alleged bum slap caused the cop pain, he decided to place the woman under arrest.

The affidavit said Kobs-Sabo “jogged” up to the cop and “took a large swing and slapped him in the buttocks”.

While being taken to the Burleigh Morton Detention Center, the woman called the arresting officer a “sexy cop” and enquired whether he was married, according to the affidavit.

Kobs-Sabo also informed the officer that she “loves a man in uniform” and found it hard to believe she was about to go to jail “for slapping a sexy cop in the ass”.

According to reports, the suspect was released from jail on bond on Monday and had not been assigned an attorney to her case by Monday afternoon.

The case is reportedly being prosecuted by Assistant Burleigh County State Attorney Tessa Marie Vaagen.
