Flames Erupt As After Car Crashes Into Electricity Pole

Clark County, Washington, 28th of June

Flames and sparks erupt after a vehicle collided with a power pole in Clark County. Authorities in Hazel Dell received reports of a vehicle accident on Northeast Highway 99 in Clark County on the 28th of June. When deputies arrived, they discovered a tiny car had crashed with a utility pole. Both the car and the utility pole caught flames, which according to officials, could be seen from a mile away. Fortunately, the occupants of the automobile were able to exit the vehicle without being injured.

Due to the active electrical lines, the fire could not be put out straight away The fire crew was able to douse the flames when the Clark Public Utilities Department had to turn off the electricity. The Clark County Fire District Six wrote on Facebook: “People inside the car were actually able to get out without major injuries. We waited until power was off to douse the flames and the sheriff’s office is investigating the crash.”
