Mechanic Builds Flame Throwing Lada

This is the moment a Russian mechanic famous for pimping his cars with giant wagon wheels or spider legs tests his latest creation – a flame-throwing Lada.

Vahan Mikaelyan adapted the fiery vehicle from a VAZ-2106 Zhiguli, also known as a Lada 1600, and shared footage of its flame-throwing capabilities on 31st July.

Mikaelyan calls his adapted Lada his ‘dragon’ and claims it is the first car in the world to be able to spew fire.

In the footage, powerful jets of fire are seen shooting out of two of the Lada’s four headlights and hitting the wall at the far end.

Mikaelyan also revealed that the vehicle will be used to burn the losing car in an upcoming race, adding: “Friends, you have see the powerful fire my Dragon spits. Therefore, on 15th August, we will burn the losing car with the Dragon. Make your cars better! There is going to be a hot car battle.”

Netizens had a lot to say about Mikaelyan’s fire-spewing Lada, with some comparing the old car to Drogon the dragon from ‘Game of Thrones’.

It is also not the first car Mikaelyan has adapted after previously making a monster truck with giant wagon wheels, and a vehicle that appeared like a spider there was also capable of travelling off down the road on its eight legs.
