This baby-faced rich kid has been shot dead inside the family DIY store amid suspicions he may have been earning his real money by managing prostitutes as a pimp.

Junior Duarte was shot seven times inside his parents’ building materials store in the neighbourhood of Mundo Novo in the northern Brazilian city of Manaus on the afternoon of 10th April.

According to family and friends, he had been managing the store while his parents were recovering from COVID-19.

Witnesses told the police how two men on a motorbike pulled up outside the store, with one of them jumping off and shooting into the establishment at the young man.

Police officer Guilherme Antoniazzi said: “He was sitting on a chair inside the building materials store.

“The characteristics indicate it to be an execution. Nothing was taken from the commercial establishment.”

According to acquaintances, the victim had links to pimping, and his killing may have been related to this.

Reports suggest he managed escorts in Manaus, and this may have been the source of his apparent wealth.

The police’s principal suspicion is that the killing was motivated by an unsatisfied customer or a failed deal.

Photos of the well-groomed young man posted to social media show him enjoying a life of luxury, often surrounded by beautiful women.

One photo shows him standing in front of a hammock with two women in skimpy bikinis giving him a kiss on either cheek.

Another photo shows him posing on a yacht moored off a paradisiacal beach.

The police are investigating the case.
