This Chinese man has become an online hit with over 4 million followers for his gravity-defying videos of everyday objects being mounted on top of each other at seemingly impossible angles.

Wang Yekun, who comes from the Chinese province of Shandong, started the unusual hobby four years ago.

Wang’s balancing videos have earned him a following of over 4 million on social media.

The former farmer has a page on the Chinese social network Douyin called ‘Balance – Wang Yekun’ where he shares his gravity-defying clips.

In the first video, Wang, who considers himself a performance artist, is seen balancing a hairdryer on a wrench which in turn is resting at an angle on a glass bottle.

Meanwhile, the hairdryer also balances a ping pong ball in the air when turned on.

The second clip shows Wang, with the help of an unnamed woman, balancing a heavy table and sewing machine at an angle on top of three mounted bottles.

In the third video, he balances three bricks on top of each other at unusual angles while the fourth video shows him balancing a hammer on a walnut positioned on two spanners that are in turn mounted on three small containers.

To show no trickery is at play, Wang often features bloopers of his failed attempts before getting it right.
