Crashed Drone Films Scared Couple Who Approach It Nervously Thinking Its An Alien Spacecraft
This is the hilarious moment a scared elderly couple wonder if a video drone that crashed in their garden is an alien spaceship – unaware that it is filming them the whole time.
The incident was filmed in the district of Erbaa in the Turkish province of Tokat, where the owner of the drone was attempting to get some footage of the area.
But for unknown reasons, it started to spiral out of control and films as it plummets to the ground, before crashing into the garden with a thump.
The noise of the device hitting the ground startled an elderly man, who nervously grabbed a stick and pointed it at the crashed drone before shouting across to his wife: “Who threw it here? Don’t you come close!”
The old woman who has now also wandered into the frame then asks: “What happened?”
He replies: “Something fell here, come have a look. Look! It made some buzzing sound and fell here. Don’t go near it!”
He then agrees with his wife when she says that it looks like something from space, saying: “Yes, it came from space! Don’t touch it, it has a bright light on it. Do you think is it going to explode? Do not get close to it. It has a light on.”
A short while later, the owner of the drone turns up to retrieve it but the elderly couple, still apparently worried that it could be a visitor from outer space, can be heard saying: “We should call someone”.
That someone turns out to be a local teacher to get reassurance that they will not be invaded by aliens and the owner of the drone, Umut Izgi, who shared the footage with Newsflash, said he had laughed a lot but had not made the footage public, as this could have left the innocent elderly couple open to ridicule.
Izgi said: “It happened in 2016 but I didn’t make it public at the time.”
After their deaths, he decided to make the prime video public and added some music and special effects, and was amazed when it was picked up by a local news agency and notched up 6 million views.
Izgi: “I am happy that it is going viral, as it puts a smile on people’s faces in these hard times.”
