This is the moment a dog runs along a zebra crossing at an intersection and straight into a passing motorcyclist who crashes to the tarmac and breaks his leg.

The biker was filmed being wiped out by the dog at a crossroads in the city of Yueyang in the Chinese province of Hunan.

According to the news site Sina, the dog ran into the biker at an intersection and sent him crashing to the ground, breaking his left leg in the process.

The man has been signed off from work to recover from his leg injury. It is unclear what happened to the dog after the incident.

In the CCTV footage, the black dog is seen running along the zebra crossing just as a man on a scooter enters the frame.

The dog runs into the biker’s front wheel, sending the vehicle crashing to the ground and both man and dog rolling along the tarmac.

Fortunately for the pooch, it jumps to its feet and continues running across the road to its intended destination while the man writhes in agony on the ground, apparently trapped by the heavy motorbike on his legs.

In the final scene, the dog apparently returns to the area to check the man from a safe distance.
