This is the moment a young girl was nearly hit by a motorcycle while trying to cross a road on a zebra crossing.

The incident took place in the city of Qianxinan, in south-western China’s Guizhou province, on Sunday, 26th June.

The footage appears to have been shot from the dashcam of a vehicle that slows down to a stop so that the young girl can cross the road.

But as she heads out onto the zebra crossing and begins to make her way to the other side, a motorcycle zooms past, missing her by inches.

Luckily, she jumps and stops at the last second, having spotted the oncoming motorcycle in the nick of time.

The young girl, who appears to be crossing the road with her mother and sibling, then turns to them before all three make their way across as the footage ends.

Chinese media reported that the girl was uninjured in the incident. It is unclear if the police are investigating.
