Man Kidnapped, Raped, And Impregnated 13 Year Old Girl In North Carolina And Then Tried To Run Her Over

Police say they have arrested a man for kidnapping, raping and impregnating a 13-year-old girl in North Carolina before trying to run her over.

The incident took place in the city of Fayetteville, which is located in the state of North Carolina in the USA, and police say they arrested the 26-year-old suspect, who has been named as Eduardo G. Rubio, on 12th November.

Police said that the suspect abducted a 13-year-old girl, who has not been named, before raping her, impregnating her and trying to run her over.

Rubio has been charged with one count of kidnapping and statutory rape as well as first-degree attempted murder, the attempted murder of her unborn child, and assault.

It is currently unclear how the police tracked down the suspect but they went to his home on Friday (12th November) on the 400 block of Murray Fork Drive in Fayetteville at 3 PM.

They found the young girl at his home and noted that her face was bruised, according to local media outlet Law and Crime.

It is reported that the suspect allegedly repeatedly choked the victim during an argument on Friday, causing her to lose consciousness at least three times.

The alleged assault apparently took place near McFayden Lake, which is where the suspect lives, and after the last time that he allegedly strangled her, he allegedly got into his car and tried to run her over in order to kill her and the unborn child.

It was not revealed whether he had hit her with the vehicle or whether the injuries that she sustained were as a result of other violence.

The victim was reportedly taken to the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where she was seen to by medical personnel over injuries sustained to her knees, arms, shoulders, face and neck.

She reportedly told doctors that the suspect had been sexually abusing her for the last two years and that the abuse had started when she was just 11 years old.

This is when the doctors discovered that she was currently four-and-a-half months pregnant, according to police documents seen by Law and Crime.

The suspect is currently being held without bond at the Cumberland County jail.
