MIDWIFE COP: Policewoman Makes Emergency Delivery In Car And Saves Baby

This is the heartwarming moment a female cop helps a woman deliver a baby in the back seat of a car.

The unique event took place in Sao Paulo state, in the country of Brazil, on 12th May.

The video shows guard Adriana, who is leaning inside the car and holding the newborn she helped deliver.

The mother meanwhile lays exhausted in the back seat, as other cops and curious people get closer.

The couple tried to get to the hospital by car, borrowing it from an acquaintance, but the woman started feeling pain and began giving birth on their way to the hospital.

The husband then decided to park the vehicle near the police station and started shouting for help.

Adriana, who has trained for this type of situation as with other medical emergencies, said that when she arrived at the vehicle, the baby’s head was already visible.

She then turned the child around to finish delivering the baby.

According to Adriana, the mother, approximately 35 years old, and the child, named Ayla, were referred to the hospital.

They underwent tests and were discharged after a few hours.
