Moment 40 People Lift Car To Free Run Over Teen In Chinese Megacity

This is the moment dozens of Chinese citizens gather around a white car and lift it off a 15-year-old boy who had been run over and trapped underneath.

The incident took place in the district of Bishan in the Chinese megacity of Chongqing on 6th June.

The 15-year-old boy was reportedly hit by the driver of the white car and remained trapped under the vehicle.

Eyewitnesses rushed to the boy’s aid, and a group of around 40 people assembled around the car in under two minutes, according to the news site Baidu.

Together, the group managed to move the car enough to free the trapped teen.

Subsequently, the boy was taken to hospital and he is now said to be out of danger.

In the footage, several people are seen running over to a stationary white car to confront the driver.

The driver gets out and looks under the car, apparently only realising then that there is a boy trapped underneath.

Meanwhile, dozens of people start gathering around the car and move enough that the teen boy is freed.

The injured teen is seen sitting on the ground, apparently conscious and able to move his head.

The boy can be seen talking to several people in the crowd, and as the video closes one member of the public appears to be remonstrating with the boy – seemingly telling him off for not crossing the road at the proper place.
