This is the moment a quad biker sparks a massive blaze at a service station by using a lighter while his vehicle is being filled with petrol.

Security footage of the inferno shows a worker filling up the bike’s tank as two men sit on the vehicle in the city of Aksaray, in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey, on 27th July.

But as the attendant fills up the bike, the driver apparently uses his lighter and sparking the blaze.

With seconds, the bike, two men and the petrol pump can be seen engulfed in flames.

The attendant runs away with his leg ablaze while the quad driver – named only as Mustafa A. in local media – becomes a human fireball.

The bike passenger apparently escaped unscathed.

Officials say Mustafa A., 25, is in Konya City Hospital with life-threatening burns.

The petrol pump worker – named as Mehmet Akbulut, 27 – is said to be recovering.

Police are investigating the incident.
