Rescued Sea Turtle Recovering At Marine Park In Connecticut

This rescued sea turtle is recovering at a US aquarium and is seen here happily swimming around its tank.

A video of the turtle was released by Mystic Aquarium based in the US state of Connecticut on their Facebook Page.

In the video, the sea turtle calmly swims around, munching on some floating bits.

Then the turtle seems to notice the camera and comes really close it it.

As the camera moves away the sea turtle follows it.

This is just one of the rescued turtles that currently reside in the marine park.

They have spent almost three months under the care of a special team from the marine park.

The aquarium’s Animal Rescue Clinic provided them with treatments that are reportedly working well.

Mystic Aquarium said that during this process, the turtles are continuously gaining weight and had a medical exam this week that they passed with flying colours.

Established in 1975, the Mystic Aquarium’s Animal Rescue Program (ARP) has provided rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing sick, injured and stranded marine animals along 1,000 miles of the Northeastern coastline throughout Connecticut, Rhode Island and Fishers Island, New York, USA.
