Spanish Cops Catch Fugitive With Help Of Drone Kitted With Night Vision
This is the moment the Spanish cops arrest a fugitive with the help of a drone with night vision technology.
The 33-year-old fugitive, name not reported, had eight arrest warrants against him for various different crimes.
According to the news site Nius, the man lived in a house in the town of Camp de Turia in the Spanish province of Valencia with his wife, who had a restraining order against him, and their children.
The wanted man never left the house to avoid being spotted and arrested by the cops.
He had eight arrest warrants against him, two for recent arrests and court appearances, which were all issued by different courts, according to Nius.
The manhunt began at the beginning of November when the police learned that he was possibly hiding out in Camp de Turia
The police, after identifying a house in an isolated area where they believed he was hiding, set up a surveillance system and soon determined that he was living in the property with his wife and children.
During the stakeout, the police observed that the fugitive never left the home at any time to remain out of sight, and requested an entry warrant to carry out a night raid.
After obtaining the warrant, the police raided the property at dawn and arrested the suspect.
The operation was carried out with the help of a drone kitted with night vision technology to help identify the fugitive and prevent him from escaping.
