Ukraine MoD Aerial Footage Shows Ukrainian Artillery Destroying Russian Targets

This aerial footage from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence reportedly shows artillery hitting Russian targets, with the MoD saying “let’s win together!”

Newsflash obtained the footage and the quotation this morning (Monday, 21st March) from the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, which said that the images showed Ukrainian artillery successfully destroying targets belonging to the “invaders”.

The images were shot from the sky and appear to show Russian military vehicles on the ground amidst some buildings, although the Ukrainian MoD did not specify where exactly they were filmed.

The flash of a first explosion can be seen occurring at the top of the screen, only just in frame, before the camera pans down and shows a second explosion to the bottom left.

A third explosion then quickly follows the second explosion and the vehicles on the ground, which the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence said belonged to the “Russian invaders”, appear to be hit and destroyed.

The camera then zooms out and shifts its focus away from the targets, with the presumably airborne vehicle then apparently flying away, the mission completed.

US President Joe Biden recently announced an additional USD 800 million in weapons aid for Ukraine, including drones and anti-tank and anti-aircraft systems.

US General David Petraeus also explained yesterday that despite the Russian forces outnumbering the Ukrainian army, many civilians have taken up arms to fight the invaders and provide logistical support to the Ukrainian military.

He also explained that the stagnant status of Russia’s forces may be prompting their generals to move to the front of columns, where Ukrainian snipers can easily pick them off. He said that four of the five generals that the Ukrainians have claimed to have killed have so far been confirmed by US information.
