Viral Footage Shows Ghostly Moment Parked Motorbike Starts Moving Of Its Own Accord

This is the ghostly moment a parked motorbike starts moving of its own accord, spooking netizens.

The clip filmed in a car park in the Brazilian city of Londrina dates from the night of 28th August and has only now gone viral after it was shared on social media.

The CCTV footage shows how a parked motorbike suddenly starts moving of its own accord and does a semi-circle in a stop-start fashion before falling on its side next to a parked car.

The moving motorbike also triggered the car park’s light sensors, illuminating the apparently empty basement.

The bike’s owner, Darcy Furquim, said he arrived home from work and parked his vehicle like he does every evening.

It was when he went to walk his dog that he noticed his motorbike was on the ground, and he got a shock when he asked to see the security camera footage.

Despite his shock, he did not believe it was a case of paranormal activity. He told news site G1: “It was out of the ordinary, but I don’t believe it was a ghost or spirit. It must have been faulty somehow.”

The incident came at a cost for Darcy, as the bike’s fall damaged the car next to it, and he is now liable for the repair costing BRL 1,900 (GBP 264).

It was after he posted the footage on social media that it went viral, with several mechanics even weighing in on the incident to offer their explanations.

Many believed the motorbike was still in gear when it was parked, though Curitiba mechanic Vagner Nogueira still believes there was something inexplicable about the bike’s trajectory.

He told G1: “I’ve been working in this field for 36 years and I’ve never seen anything like this. For me, it’s kind of shocking, kind of impossible to explain…

“I don’t know what to say or what to believe, but it’s strange. It should have fallen immediately and not gone all that way.”
