Jay County, Indiana, 18 June

Severe storms brought hail and tornadoes that caused countless damage. The Portland Police Department shared an aerial view of the damage from the Jay County tornado in Indiana that took place on 18th June. According to the video the storm took over the roofs of some buildings, destroyed households, put down countless trees and some electric poles. Portland Police Department shared the footage on the Facebook platform with the following message:” This is drone video from the Portland Police Department of the damage from today’s tornado. We have been advised that no one was seriously injured. We can always rebuild from these events but the loss of life is a different story. Thanks to all Police Personnel, Fire Departments, EMS, EMA, friends, family and neighbours who have helped to clean up the damage.”
