Children Playing With Puppy Are Run Over By Car But Escaped Unharmed

This is the incredible moment a reversing motorist runs over two children playing on the road with a puppy – who escape unharmed.

The incident happened in the prefecture-level city of Tongliao in eastern Inner Mongolia, which is part of the People’s Republic of China when the two girls were playing with the puppy on 13 July.

They failed to notice at all that a white car is reversing towards them as they played with the puppy, with the youngest girl kneeling on the ground with her back to the vehicle, and the older girl standing up and looking down at the puppy, and neither of them seeing the danger.

The woman motorist is also oblivious to the fact that the two children are there as she reverses down the street and then collides with the youngest one who was crushed to the ground as the car drives over her. It then hits the older child who is also knocked over and disappears under the vehicle.

Apparently realising she’s hit something, the woman motorist stops as the older child scrambles to free herself from under the vehicle and moves away – but with the younger child still trapped underneath.

Without checking what she’s hit, the woman motorist then tries to move forward, dragging the child slightly down the road but then stopping and this time getting out to check – where she realises that she’s hit the children.

But incredibly, despite what could have been serious injuries as she was crushed under the vehicle, the youngest child apparently gets up and brushes herself off, and it was later confirmed that she suffered only minor bruises and a couple of scratches from being dragged along the road and otherwise was unharmed.

It was unclear if police are taking action against the careless woman driver.
