Pet Snake Turns Up In Neighbours Toilet Six Months After Escaping
This is the moment a pet snake shows up in a woman’s toilet after escaping from a neighbour’s house six months previously.
The incident took place at a home in the city of Hangzhou in the eastern Chinese province of Zhejiang when a female resident found a brightly-coloured snake in the toilet.
The woman called the fire brigade and even donned a pair of plastic gloves to try to remove the reptile herself.

Firefighters arrived on the scene and successfully captured the reptile, identified as a non-venomous corn snake.
The fire brigade also learned that the snake had escaped from a neighbour’s house around six months ago and had not been seen since.
Firefighters returned the missing corn snake to the home of the owner who is now taking care of it.

In the footage, the woman is seen bravely tugging at the brightly-coloured snake as a firefighter shines a torch on the toilet.
In the next scene, a firefighter takes over and manages to uncoil the reptile from around the toilet seat.
He then shows the snake to the young woman while holding it in his hand.
