Pilot Forced To Perform An Emergency Landing After A Mechanical Issue

A pilot had to make an emergency landing in a wooded area after the aircraft suffered a mechanical defect. Hernando County Sheriff’s responded at about 11am to a plane crash at the Chassahowitzka Wildlife Management Area in Florida on 13th July. The plane was travelling from Hidden Lake Airport from New Port Richey to California. The pilot of the Cessna 150 plane landed in a densely forested area after detecting that the aircraft he was driving experienced a mechanical issue. Neither the pilot nor his passenger were injured during the emergency landing. The Federal Aviation Administration is to investigate the circumstances of the incident. No further details are known.
