This is the moment a cat dubbed “Rambo” takes on a pack of dogs and lives to tell the tale.

The incident happened in the Kama Region in the Russian federal subject of Perm Krai where footage recorded from the CCTV cameras of a nearby building shows the cat sitting on the pavement when a lone dog approaches and decides to disappear under a car.

But the lone dog is then joined by a second animal, and then the third with the cat fighting on all fronts to stop the dogs from crawling underneath the vehicle and grabbing it.

In the end, there are seven dogs surrounding the car and the cat decides it can no longer keep them all at bay, and it decides to run for it.

But it does not get far before it is overtaken and surrounded by the larger animals, which take it in turns attempting to fight the cat that is battling on all sides to keep them at bay.

Even when it ends up in the mouth of one of the animals, it continues to fight and battles its way free in order to leap onto a bench where it then uses the higher position to hiss at and attack the dogs as they come nearer.

At that moment, one of the residents of the building, who heard the commotion, starts shouting and throws an object down, which startles the pack of dogs, that eventually then run away leaving the cat sitting on the bench.

According to the report of local news site 59.ru, most of the netizens who watched the video admired the luck and courage of the cat.

Some of them compared the cat with action movie heroes, calling it a ‘Feline Jackie Chan’, a ‘Little Bruce Lee’ and a ‘Rambo Cat’.
