Cute Koalas Enjoy Life At Aussie Zoo

This is the moment a group of cute koala bears can be seen enjoying the simple moments of their lives at the Billabong Zoo in Australia.

The sight of the Koalas enjoying their enclosure was captured on video at Billabong Zoo, Koala and Wildlife Park, in Port Macquarie, in Australia.

As can be seen in the video, the Koalas are seen happily feeding on leaves, jumping from one branch to another, taking a nap and interacting with other members of their Koala family.

Billabong Zoo, Koala & Wildlife Park posted this video on YouTube with the message: “Adopt a Koala”

Krysti Giles, Marketing and Social Media Manager at Billabong Zoo, Koala, and Wildlife Park told Clipzilla: “There are multiple different koalas in this, too many for us to be able to name them.”

According to the recent nationwide impact of Bushfires across Australia that left a lot of iconic Australian wildlife without homes, food and water sources, habitat and perhaps family, Billabong Zoo World-Renowned Koala Breeding Centre have a program that urges to adopt koala bears.

The fires had one of the biggest impacts on the Koala population, which was already approaching endangered lists. The horrific disaster has depleted their numbers and made them even more vulnerable than ever, with low habitat, food supplies, protection from predators, medical care and fewer viable breeding colleagues.

Koalas typically inhabit open eucalypt woodlands, and their diet consists mostly of the leaves of these trees . Because this eucalypt diet has limited nutritional and caloric content, koalas are largely sedentary and sleep up to 20 hours a day.
