Michigan State Police Puts A Stop To Vehicle Drag Racing

Detroit, Michigan, 9th July

The Michigan State Police release a video of a wild police chase conducted in order to stop drag racing in the city. The Michigan State Police helicopter Trooper Two, spotted a vehicle described as “Dodge Challenger” doing donuts in the center of the intersection at Grand Boulevard and Palmer Street in Detroit on 9th July around 10 pm. Once the driver spotted the police, he fled the scene. Allegedly running out of gas, the suspect pulled over at a petrol station. However, the driver saw two patrol cars approach it, so he immediately went back into his vehicle. The driver in an attempt to flee struck one of the vehicles and continued driving away. The vehicle driving along Interstate 96 suddenly slows down, completely out of gas.. Tropper Wo which followed the vehicle overhead, informs officers that several people exit the vehicle and run up an embankment by the freeway to hide. With the help of Trooper Two the police were able to arrest all three occupants of the vehicle. The incident is still being investigated.
