High Octane Car Chase Ends With Cop Ramming Drug Dealers Vehicle Off Road In Wales

This is the dramatic moment a Welsh cop rams a drug dealer’s car off the road and into a field before arresting him.

David Andrew Morgan, a 41-year-old cocaine dealer, was sentenced to five years in prison for dangerous driving, assaulting an officer, and possession of cocaine after he was arrested in the Welsh city of Swansea on February 3rd.

Undercover cops stopped Morgan because they suspected he was using fake number plates on his black Vauxhall Astra.

Morgan refused to co-operate and accelerated off, racing through the city with his 30-year-old partner Kirsty Davies in the passenger seat as the police gave chase.

During the chase, Morgan mounted the pavement and injured four officers who were ordering him to stop.

Several police units joined the pursuit, but it was the officer – trained in advanced driving techniques – in the Audi A8 in the video who put an end to the high-speed pursuit.

After successfully ramming Morgan off the road, the officer jumped out of his car with his taser drawn, pulled Morgan out of the driver’s seat, and arrested him.

The 41-year-old man was arrested with a small bag that contained EUR 243 (GBP 210) in cash, a small set of scales, and 44 bags of cocaine.

His phone was checked and several messages were found with people asking him for bags of cocaine which they planned to pay for by sending money to Kristy’s account.

Morgan was sentenced to five years in prison. Eighteen months for dangerous driving, two months for assaulting a police officer, and three years and four months for possession of cocaine with intent to supply.

Kirsty Davies received a one-year suspended sentence and was ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work.
