Moment Firefighter Saves Limp Kitten With CPR After Building Blaze

This is the heartwarming moment a firefighter performs CPR on a tiny kitten found near a burning building and eventually brings it round with chest compressions and water.

The incident took place on Vardar Street in the neighbourhood of Sirripasa in the district of Derince in the Turkish province of Kocaeli on 26th September.

The Kocaeli Fire Brigade shared the footage on their Facebook page after the kitten was found trapped between two burning buildings.

Eyewitnesses noticed the cat in distress and informed firefighters on the scene who managed to rescue it during the operation.

However, one firefighter noticed that the little cat’s heart had apparently stopped during its ordeal, and immediately carried out cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the animal.

The video shows the firefighter performing CPR on the kitten until it slowly responds before making it drink some water from his hand.

At the end of the clip, the kitten appears to be in a much better state as the firefighter gives it a cuddle and a smiling young girl walks over to stroke its fluffy little head.

After checking its health, local reports said the kitten was released back on the street.
